Peterborough Cathedral
Replacing their educational displays
and guided tours with touchscreen kiosks allows the Cathedral
to increase the quantity and quality of information available
to visitors.
Vertrix supplied both the touchscreens
and the productions. Each kiosk is loaded with a selection
of productions, replacing the old static information boards.
Each production presents a section of historical interest
relating to the Cathedral, such as the newly restored nave
ceiling, the story of Catherine of Aragon (who was buried
inside the cathedral) and explanations of the stained glass
windows.
